These Terms of Use govern this website and the independent repair work you book through it. If you continue to browse, submit the booking form, or invite a technician into your home, you agree to this page. If you do not agree, do not use the site or schedule a visit.
Who we are — and who we are not
GE Appliance Repair repairs GE household appliances as an independent contractor. We are not an authorized GE service center. “GE,” model numbers and error codes appear so homeowners can find the right guide and so we can order the correct original part. They are not a claim of manufacturer employment, franchise or factory warranty administration.
What you can do on this website
You may read GE error-code articles, service and location pages, and request a repair. The library explains what a code may mean on many GE series, lists cautious checks, and says when to stop. GE reuses codes across refrigerators, laundry, dishwashers and cooking products, so a page is not a substitute for reading the plate on your machine or for a technician standing in front of it.
Booking a technician
A request through the form is an ask for a visit, not a guaranteed same-hour arrival. We confirm a window when we can. You need to give access to the GE appliance, a safe work area, and an adult who can approve the estimate. If the address is outside the metros we list on this site, we may decline the job after we check the ZIP code.
Diagnosis, estimate and extra faults
The first on-site step is diagnosis. We then give you a written or clearly stated estimate for the repair we recommend. No GE part is ordered and no repair is performed until you say yes. If testing later shows a second problem — for example a failed board after a sensor was replaced — we stop and get a new approval before adding that work or that part.
Original parts and supply
We fit original GE parts for the repair you approved. Stock depends on the exact model and what distributors have that week. We confirm the part and the price with you before it goes in. We do not install unrelated aftermarket pieces unless you and the technician explicitly agree in the estimate.
Workmanship after the visit
Where a workmanship warranty applies to the completed GE repair, the length, what it covers and what it excludes are written on the estimate or the job paperwork. It does not convert this company into GE factory service and it does not extend the manufacturer’s original appliance warranty.
Limits on website advice and on the job
Guides on this site are informational. They must not be used as a license to open live electrical connections, gas valves, sealed refrigerant circuits or safety interlocks. We are not responsible for damage or injury from DIY work, for faults that were already present, for misuse after we leave, or for problems on systems we were not asked to repair. Gas, high-voltage and sealed-system work belongs with a qualified technician.
